Guest tutors Ffibrau Y Gwyr will be teaching this class.
This class teaches you the basic techniques you need to make a beautiful, light weight, hand woven scarf.
No experience is required. We will show you all the parts of the loom, tell you about some of the confusing terminology and get you weaving your own scarf to take home and keep.
All materials and a 10 inch Ashford rigid heddle loom are supplied for your use during this workshop and the scarf is yours to keep. The looms will be provided ready warped and we will provide yarns to complete your scarf.
The yarns we use for this project are acrylic (so vegan friendly) and make beautiful soft creations to keep that chilly winter wind out.
Please advise us of up to 3 colour preferences when booking - we can not guarentee to fulfill your request but will do our best.
Materials, equipment and refreshments are provided - please bring a packed lunch.
A minimum of 3 participants are required in order to run this class. You will be notified if we need to re-arrange or cancel due to lack of booking.
