Inspiration

I love a good post apocalypse TV sow and one I've watching and re-watching at the moment is the 1975 series Survivors It tells of a virus(!) originating from Asia(!) that spreads all over the world (!) and kills lots of peoples (!) the episodes are the 'adventures' of those who survive - struggles of loneliness, lawlessness, hope, relearning new skills and crafts, rebuilding communities and families. It is also hideously racist and sexist, which you kind of have to overlook (and just be thankful we have moved on, albeit slowly, since then) There are some gems though, like scenes with large looms, people hand carding fibre, crocheting etc plus some tasty shots of Welsh Tapestry blankets!
